A Mom's View of the Virgin Mary

I believe today was a Missed opportunity to discuss what a lot of conservatives and liberals ignore, won't talk about or keep it real regarding the Virgin Mary.  When according to my knowledge of the bible, Mary was about 12-14 years old, already espoused by an arranged marriage to Joseph when she was visited by an Angel who told her she would have a son of GOD's a/k/a Jesus Christ. Then Mary said to the angel Let It Be, but the Part missed was when Whoopi said She had a Choice & I Wholeheartedly Agree!

The virgin mary said Let It Be,knowing she could be stoned to death for being unwed. Back then all women had to be virgins and after their wedding night the sheets would be displayed for the village to see where the hyman was broken.  So how many of you mothers in TV Land would have believed her and that she had known no man? Do you think Mary's mother considered in an attempt to save her life getting her an abortion?  Yes  even back then abortions were done so Did you ever think maybe that's why Mary left, by herself and went to go visit her aged Cousin Elizabeth, the mother of John the Baptist who had been barren for all those years. 

Well Ive said the above to remind those in the GOP We all should have the Right of a Choice whether to Abort or Not. During this time of year many people sing Jesus Christ came to bring Peace on Earth and Good Will To Man. However Jesus actually said Nay, and came with a sword Hand wanting Division. So instead of worrying about who is unwed, a hetero or homo, instead worry about your own life or relationship to the Son of God & bridegroom to Come.
